After buying on Gumroad you'll receive a download and a license key. Open the downloaded disk image, drag Tallyy to your Applications folder, and launch it. On the activation screen, paste your license key to unlock the app. Requires macOS 14 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel).
Tallyy is a one-time purchase — $4.99 on Gumroad, which unlocks the whole app. There is no subscription, nothing auto-renews, and updates are free. Make as many invoices as you like.
Pick a clean preset, tap in your line items, and Tallyy renders a professional PDF. Your company details (name, address, logo, payment info) autofill from Settings, so you never retype them. Template invoicing works fully offline and needs no AI key.
Instead of filling out a form, you type a rough note — like "5 hours consulting for Acme at $120/hr" — and Tallyy drafts the whole invoice. "Describe it" uses your own Anthropic (Claude) API key: create one for free at console.anthropic.com, then add it in Settings → AI — bring your own key. Your note goes straight from your Mac to Anthropic under your own account (never to a Tallyy server), and Anthropic bills you for usage — typically a fraction of a cent per invoice. Always review the amounts before sending.
Yes. Tallyy for Mac is local-first: your invoices, clients, and company details live only on your Mac, and there is no Tallyy server and no account. The only thing that ever leaves your Mac is a note you choose to type into "Describe it," which is sent directly to Anthropic using your own API key to draft the invoice.

Open Settings → Delete all data inside the app. This permanently removes your on-device invoices, clients, and business profile. Your license stays active, so you can keep using the app.
