Tallyy for Mac is built local-first. Your invoices, clients, and company details stay on your Mac. There is no Tallyy account and no Tallyy server. This policy explains the limited data involved in making Tallyy work.
Everything you create in Tallyy — your invoices, line items, client records, and your company details (name, address, logo, payment info) — is stored only on your Mac. NYRAI LLC never receives a copy of your invoice content or your clients' information, and we operate no server that holds it.
"Describe it" is optional and uses your own Anthropic (Claude) API key, which you enter in the app's Settings and which is stored only in your Mac's Keychain. When you use it, the short note you type is sent directly from your Mac to Anthropic under your own Anthropic account to draft the invoice. It does not pass through, and is not received or stored by, NYRAI LLC. Anthropic's handling of that request is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Template invoicing uses no AI and sends nothing off your Mac.
Tallyy is purchased through Gumroad, which processes your payment and issues your license key; Gumroad's handling of your purchase and email is governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy. NYRAI LLC never sees or stores your payment card details. When you activate the app, Tallyy sends your license key to Gumroad to verify it — that is the only routine network request the app makes for licensing.
Tallyy contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Delete all data inside the app, which permanently removes your on-device invoices, clients, and business profile. You can also remove your Anthropic API key from Settings at any time. For any questions, contact hello@nyrai.ai.
